The 13th Italian Forum on Ambient Assisted Living (ForItAAL 2024) is the annual gathering dedicated to professionals, companies, end-user organizations, policymakers, research institutions, and universities. The 2024 edition will take place in Florence from June 25 to 28, as an in-person event.

ForItAAL serves as a platform for discussing the challenges of digital transformation and smart technologies for active and healthy aging, with the aim of fostering innovation, sharing knowledge, and exploring opportunities in the fields of Ambient Assisted Living (AAL), Active & Healthy Ageing, and Smart Living. Renowned national and international speakers will contribute to the discussion.

The event also offers an opportunity to explore welfare policies based on the integration of social and healthcare services, promoting coordinated, multidisciplinary, and innovative responses to health and care needs in domestic and professional settings. A key aspect is the adoption of a collaborative approach among operators and professionals in the care system, enhancing resources and optimizing social and healthcare services for families, older adults, and the most vulnerable segments of the population.

The ForItAAL 2024 organizing committee welcomes scientific contributions to support the dissemination of research advances in smart technologies and artificial intelligence solutions for active aging.
